What is Reiki?

My Reiki Training

I received my Reiki training and attunements from Kumari, a Reiki Master and internationally respected healer, teacher, and mentor. Her work is rooted in deep compassion, presence, and energy awareness.

Learning through Kumari’s guidance shaped the way I hold space with intuition, care, and reverence for each person’s unique journey. Her teachings helped me trust what I feel, soften into the moment, and offer Reiki not as a fix, but as a sacred invitation back to self.

How I Offer Reiki

Reiki can be experienced in many ways, all equally powerful:

✨In person with touch: Gentle hands placed on or near the body at specific energy points

✨In person without touch: Hands hover just above the body. Still deep. Still sacred

✨Distance Reiki: Energy knows no bounds. Distance sessions are incredibly effective and can be done from anywhere in the world

✨Group Reiki: A shared experience of calm and connection. Especially supportive for those moving through similar seasons

You are always in control. Whether we are working with touch or no touch, near or far, you’ll be invited to rest, receive, and return to yourself.

What Reiki Feels Like

Each session is unique. You may feel warmth, tingling, stillness, a sense of peace, or gentle emotional release. You may even fall asleep. Most people leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to their own inner world.

Reiki doesn’t fix you. You’re not broken.
It simply clears what is not yours and brings you back to what is.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray key) is a gentle, intuitive energy practice that supports your body, mind, and spirit in returning to balance. It isn’t tied to any religion or belief system. It’s simply a remembering. A returning to the natural flow of life force energy within and around you.

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:
Rei — Universal
Ki — Life energy

Together, they describe a sacred connection to the energy that flows through all living things. When our energy is low or blocked by stress, grief, trauma, or disconnection, we can feel heavy, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves. Reiki gently restores movement, grounding, and flow.
